The Vision of Ascension Christian Schools

The Vision of Ascension Christian Schools comes from Psalms 68:6 – God places the lonely in families; he sets the captives free and gives them joy.”

At Ascension Christian Schools, we believe that everyone needs a place to Belong, then be given the opportunity to Believe in the promises of God, and finally, everyone needs to Become the person God intended them to be.

In the same way, students who attend Ascension Christian Schools will be given a place to belong first. Students will have the opportunity to connect to others who share similar interests-whether it is in classes, clubs, small groups, or sports. Each student has the opportunity to connect to other students and school leaders. In these opportunities students will learn about God and his world through a quality-driven educational system and the daily Christian culture that is alive and well in the schools. Finally, students can begin to understand the plan that God has for their lives by discovering and using their gifts and talents in a Christ-centered environment.

The Mission of Ascension Christian Schools

The Mission of Ascension Christian Schools connects the vision of “Becoming” all that God has planned, and becoming “A light for the world.” The mission verse comes from Matthew 5:14-17- You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
